Font Romeu Family Skiing January 2006

Pros: GREAT FAMILY BEGINNER AND IMPROVER SKIING. Cheap .
Cons: Quiet night time in the resort may not be for the young party people!
Our family group of beginner skiers visited Font Romeu for 5 days skiing and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The skiing and ski lessons were very good and all enjoyed the experience. All staff in the resort very friendly and suited to family groups with children .The resort was pretty but pretty quiet in the evenings. Good experience and will go back. Booked the accomodation through www.francealacarte.com who were very helpful and also booked cars for our party. Hire snowchains is my only word of advice!!Prebook lessons for your stay as it is a quick way to get to know the ski runs.
